Effectiveness Week is a biennial event established by the IPA and a coalition of industry partners. It champions the application of evidence-based decision-making in marketing.

Building on the success of the first event in 2016 the IPA is developing an ongoing initiative that provides a year-round platform for the debates, learning and research that inform Effectiveness Week. Both initiatives will strengthen marketing’s core purpose – brand-value and shareholder-value growth. They exist to inform and inspire all stakeholders who are dedicated to making marketing more accountable.

Our Pledge

Marketing Effectiveness Week 2016 was a statement of intent from the industry. Building on the success of the event the IPA has pledged to establish a year round initiative in collaboration with other industry bodies to strengthen the marketing community around the core values and learning’s of Effectiveness Week. More than just a one-off event, the initiative will be a long-term commitment to marketing accountability and the principles of effectiveness.
